No date on Valentine's day?
Don't be sad, we got your back. You will enjoy Valentine's day full of sweetness and love.
Today is February 14. "It’s the day most of us dread. We’re either alone and can’t stand the roses and chocolate reminders or we’re coupled and can’t stand the pressure." (Brandi-Ann Uyemura) This is the day where we remember rejections, heart aches, regrets and all the bitterness we had experienced.
Ooopppss! Stop the drama. Cheer up! Let us celebrate love! The DLRC joins the February 14 madness by celebrating love for reading.

To make this day very sweet and full of love, we surprised the Dominicans with a blind date. Any student who wants to get a blind date with a book should guess the title of the book according to the clues supplied. Winners will take and own the book but for those who failed to guess the title will receive chocolates as consolation prize.

Patricia L Canonizado a third year BSBA guessed the book "Faking It" and she is the first winner to get a blind with a book.

Arah Fanneli Teofe (center) a BSHTM student has the right to "Walking Disaster"

Angel Monique P. Decano (right) a BSHTM student won the "Nobody's cutier than you"

We shouldn't be worried about giving or receiving chocolates, flowers or having a date. We should enjoy and celebrate everyday with love. And not just love, but a love in reading. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!
